Lil Bro Drama Update

First of all, I forgot to thank you all for your kind comments and true support through everything that has gone on in my family in the recent weeks.

Being able to blog about my life is great therapy and having great support through comments is icing on the cake.

So, just to let you all know how things are progressing, I will try to keep you updated. S had his first court date on the 20th but they got a continuance (sp?) so that his lawyer could review the evidence and stuff, I guess. Next date is the 4th. Say a prayer.

But he is well. And my parents seem to be doing ok too. Which is good.

Proof that my family has the best sense of humor:

We were all sitting around my kitchen last night getting ready to play poker. The discussion was concerning the cost ( 5 bucks a game, texas hold em) and we were all bitching about being broke when my brother offered this alternative:

"Well, we could play for cigarettes. I should get used to that anyways."

Pop almost came flying out of my nose.
